KMF was contracted to produce a high-quality documentary film to celebrate the 575th anniversary of the founding of Phnom Penh city.

Initiated by the Governor of Phnom Penh, H.E. Chuk Tema, the documentary has already been shown across all TV channels in city-wide celebrations prior and after the celebratory 31 December 2009.

Content included interviews with the Prime Minister, Samdech Hun Sen and the Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Men Sam On.

Top British cinematographer, Bill Broomfield, shot key footage on a special trip to Cambodia in September 2009.

The documentary was made in parallel with the production of a three-minute promotional video Pearl of Asia now being used to strengthen trade ties between Cambodia and South Korea.
